Solutions
AXIS Airline & General Aviation "All Risks" Insurance provides cover against the risk of hull damage, property damage and/or bodily injury to both passengers and third parties. This product also offers spares coverage as well as limited war liability (AVN52).
Our "contingent" policy is triggered in the event of an accident, but only when the operator's policy fails to respond. This product is always "contingent" behind an operators policy. Cover is also extended to include "possessed" exposures. For example, when an aircraft lease expires, the aircraft lessor will become responsible for their aircraft on a "first loss" basis.
Acts of war and malicious intent can bring huge exposures to the aviation insurance industry and clients can be left somewhat vulnerable. AXIS Aviation Excess War Liability Insurance provides cover for third-party legal liabilities arising from property damage and/or bodily injury arising from war perils. Typically this is written on a stand-alone basis and sits in excess of the underlying (AVN52) limit included in the "all risks" contract.
